Area of circle: A=pi×r². This area coresponds to 360degrees, or 2×pi radians.

2×pi ....... pi×r²

t radians....x

where t=2.75rads

Area of t: x=pi×r²×t/2/pi=r²×t/2

Area of t: 3²×2.75/2=9×2.75/2=12.375

Answer: the area of 2.75 radians is 12.375
