We have 6(1-5m)

[tex]6\mleft(1-5m\mright)=6(1)+6(-5m)[/tex]

and we will obtain the same result on both sides

6(1-5m)=6-30m

6(1)+6(-5m)=5-30 m

the answer is equal so we said we apply correctly the distributive property
