Suppose you wanted to develop a light to help increase plant growth. What characteristics should the light have? Why?

The light should have the right color, duration, and temperature. Light color should be within blue and red ranges, duration should be longer than the plant would receive during a normal day (since indoor light intensity is much lower than the sun), and temperature should not be too hot.
